The Central Synagogue is situated in the heart of London’s bustling and vibrant West End. You’ll find us just off Great Portland Street, mid-way between Oxford Circus and the beautiful Regent’s Park to the north.

Public transport

The Central Synagogue is in easy walking distance of four Underground stops: Oxford Circus, Warren Street, Great Portland Street and Regent’s Park. It is also close to the following bus routes:  88 and 453 which pass the Synagogue while 18, 27, 30 and 205 are a five minute walk away.

Parking at the Central Synagogue

There is no onsite parking available at the Synagogue. Pay by Phone Parking is available in the immediate vicinity. Parking is permitted on the single yellow line directly outside the Synagogue before 8:30 am and after 6:30 pm Mondays to Saturdays and all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Accessibility

Ramp access into the building via Great Portland Street entrance. Wheelchair accessible (shabbat) lift provides access to all floors. Accessible/Compliant WC with baby changing facilities available on first floor. Hearing loop installed.
