The Von Trapp – Leas singers

Here’s our very own Chazan Steven having fun with his musical kids in studio singing Do you Hear the People Sing from Les Miserables.

The Von Leas family were holidaying in South Africa and visited their friends who run both a chocolate making factory and a recording studio.  Everything was going well in the chocolate making department when all of a sudden, they couldn’t locate their 3 year old Danielle. She had decided to take herself off to the recording studio next door, walking into the actual recording area, putting on a pair of headphones and starting to sing.  Having just listened to her father’s favourite CD of Les Miserables in the car, she started singing a  song entitled Do You Hear the People Sing. The sound engineer was so taken aback that he downloaded the backing tracks to the song and started recording her singing.  This is a recording of Danielle, her siblings and Steven, our Cantor, of this song. Just a bit of fun!
