Listen to these great versions of Avinu Sheabashaymaim which Jonathan and I sing on Shabbat

Avinu sheabashaymaim, the prayer for Israel is sung in our Synagogue together with my son Jonathan and the choir. The version we sing was written and sung by Sol Zim and is considered the second Israeli anthem by many.

I have attached a few versions of this same setting as well as 2 other settings by other great cantors which I really enjoy. Sol Zim will be at our Synagogue for a concert with myself and 3 other choirs on the 19th June. So keep the date !

The cantor of the Israeli Defence Forces Shai Abrahamson

The Moscow Male Jewish choir conducted by my friend alexander tsuilik

Here’s another Avinu by Meir Finkelstein who has composed the Veal Kulam I sing together with the choir and which you all love.

and lastly a Sephardi version written by Aaron Benssoussan
