Ze’ev’s Place – Mom Is Not Crazy – 8th November
Posted by Craig Levison on November 3, 2015
This frank documentary introduces us to Amira; an extremely intelligent, sensitive and talented wife and mother dealing suffering from mental illness in the form of Borderline Personality Disorder.
Because of her religious background and her condition of trying to test boundaries, there is a tragic gap between her personal and psychological needs, and the expectation of the orthodox community and its leaders.
This film tracks Amira’s dramatic struggle to stay alive, raise her children and examine what it means to be normal.
