The Journey to Hope, Recovery and Beyond with Jonny Benjamin MBE – 18th January

The Journey to Hope, Recovery and Beyond

with Jonny Benjamin MBE

MONDAY 18 JANUARY 2021

7:30 pm Via Zoom

In association with Jami’s Mental Health Awareness Shabbat 23 January

Jonny will share his journey with mental illness from his first experiences of seeing a psychologist aged 5, through to his breakdown and hospitalisation aged 20.  This led to a suicide attempt in which Jonny was saved by a stranger. It is a moving story with the ultimate message that we can all overcome any adversity in life.

Jonny’s Dad, Michael, will then speak about the experience of mental illness upon family members.

There will be a chance to interact and ask questions to both Jonny and his Dad during the session.
