Rabbi Barry Marcus – Ha’azinu

The name of this week’s sedra, Ha’azinu means ‘to listen’, which refers to Moses’ song to the people of Israel looking back over their history with gratitude to the Almighty.  The sedra ends with Moses’ ascent up Mt.Nevo where he views the land of Israel from a distance, destined never to set foot within.
