Super Easy Choc Cake

Ingredients

10 ½ oz good quality choc (For Pesach best to use ménage choc but all year round I either use just green and blacks or mix Green and Blacks with ménage. Just depends on how chocolaty you like it.)

10 oz caster sugar

5 ½ oz marge

5 eggs

Method

Melt choc, marge and sugar together in the microwave or over a pan of hot water.

Beat eggs with fork and fold into choc mixture

Put in a greased and lined loose bottom tin

Bake for 35 -40 mins on 180

Chocolate Coconut Kisses

4oz icing sugar

4oz desiccated coconut

½ oz vanilla sugar

4oz plain chocolate (chopped or chocolate buttons)

Method

Whisk whites to soft peaks. Slowly whisk in icing sugar and vanilla sugar untill stiff.

Fold in coconut and chocolate

Fill paper cases 2/3 full.

Bake 180 degrees (350f or gas 4) approx. 15 – 20 minutes

Super simple chicken

For 6-8 portions

Ingredients

Apricot Jam – 4 tablespoons

Onion soup mix  2-3 tbsp

Orange juice  – 2 floz  of orange juice

Method

Mix the apricot jam with the onion soup mix. Then add the orange juice. It should be like a thick sauce (a little runny).

Put it in the oven on 180 for approx. 30 mins covered and then 30 mins uncovered depending on size of chicken pieces. If you are making it for Seder night then cover the chicken tightly for the full hour.
