Dr Michael Arnheim is a practising Barrister, Sometime Fellow of St John’s College Cambridge, and author of 23 published books to date. Born in South Africa, in his youth he was an active member of Johannesburg’s Great Synagogue. After taking his doctorate at Cambridge University, he was elected into a Fellowship at St John’s College. From the age of 31 he was Professor and Head of the Department of Classics at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, before returning to Britain to join the Bar.
