Happiness Comes to Central – CENTRAL “HAPPY” VIDEO

In the competitive world of synagogues (yes, there is such a thing!), we thought long and hard about how to get our message out there. How to make Central Synagogue London stand out and be appealing to new members.

The criterion was to attract not only younger congregants; maybe those living in central London who were perhaps not yet affiliated, but who were starting to raise a family, and even those who wanted to come to a shul whose Rabbi was inspiring and sympathetic.

In a short video, inspired by the Farrell Williams hit song “Happy”, we hired a sharp-witted videographer, who, over a few days managed to capture, we think, the spirit of the synagogue.

If you are already a member, you may recognise many of the people in the video, and laugh at them. That’s what we want! Forward it on to your friends. We believe we are the only synagogue in the world which has done anything like this!

It’s not possible to tell you all the things we can offer, but here are a few: inspiring services, weddings and receptions, cultural events featuring top international performers, (did we mention the barbecues?) – believe this: try us – you won’t regret it! We want what you want!
