Weekday Services with Rabbi Lerer (each service is followed by memorial prayers for Yahrzeits and learning a Mishna for those remembering a loved one).

Sunday 9:00 am Shacharit/Morning Service

Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm Afternoon and Evening Service

 

Friday 22 May

6:30 pm – Shabbat at Home with the United Synagogue and Mizrachi. Welcome Shabbat in with a pre-Shabbat Yom Yerushalayim concert with the UK’s favourite singers.

Followed at 7:10 pm with Kabbalat Shabbat/ Friday Evening service of song and prayer with Chazan Avromi Freilich of HGSS (Shabbat starts at 8:42 pm).

Saturday 23 May

10:10 pm – Havdala. End a special Shabbat with the United Synagogue and Mizrachi. (Link as above)

 

Sunday 24 May

10:00 am – Quiz time with Leonard Fertleman.

 

Monday 25 May

7:00 pm – US Rabbis Pizza bake off with Rabbi Lerer.

 

Tuesday 26 May

6:00 pm – In the Kitchen with Ilana Epstein of Ta’am – Making Cheese Blintzes for Shavuot. Bake along or just watch!

 

Wednesday 27 May

Pre Shavuot Learning Programme

7:15 pm – “One Rabbi’s Big Mistake – The surprising precondition to the Revelation at Mt Sinai and what it teaches us about living Jewishly today”

Taught by Rabbi Dr Raphael Zarum, Dean of LSJS

 

Thursday 28 May

1:00-2:00 pm – Flow and Restore Yoga with Dina – Reset and recharge your body and mind on Thursday afternoons.  Email: dina@dynamicflowyoga.com

7:00 pm – Yizkor for Erev Shavuot from the Shul (followed by Mincha)

As we will be unable to say Yizkor together in shul on 2nd Day Shavuot (Shabbat 30th) Rabbi Lerer will be leading a communal Yizkor with prayers for loved ones as well as Prayers for those who perished in the Holocaust and those who gave their lives defending the State of Israel. (Please do say Yizkor again on Shabbat when you pray by yourselves) Yom Tov starts at 8:49 pm.
