2nd night Pesach Seder

Seder 1

Just as we are commanded to tell the story of the Exodus from Egypt , I too feel a sense of duty to tell you about our great 2nd Night Seder. 60 people from all over the world joined us for this great evening. They came from New York, London, Israel, South Africa and of course our own Central Members.

The food was a hit as our very own Kenny Arfin of Bevis Marks Restaurant fame treated us to a gourmet meal. Smoked salmon to start followed by chicken soup and matzo balls. Then the most succulent, tasty Beef I have had in a long while, only to be outdone by the sumptuous desserts.

Both the Rabbi and myself lead various parts of the evening and engaged people in thought and song and at 12.00 when people walked out, they walked out with a glow that was partly to do with the wine, but more with the satisfaction of a great insightful and enjoyable seder.
