Chairman – Lloyd Keisner

Our family’s ties to Central Synagogue began in 1960 when my late father-in-law Stanley Goldstein became a member of the shul.

It was here where I also married my wife Jane in 1984. Whilst our affinity to the synagogue goes back a long way, in truth my connection to Central, and it’s community, significantly developed following Stanley’s passing in March 2021.

During a difficult pandemic period, I was touched by the community’s support for my family through our time of mourning.

I have been attending Central Synagogue daily ever since, and in doing so have totally redefined my weeks – allowing time each day to be with our benevolent community, as well as time to personally reflect and stop in our busy world.

I would now be delighted to be able to give back to a community that has been there for both my family and myself at the most important of times.
