In this week’s sedra we begin to read about the life experiences of Abraham and Sarah.  We learn from these familiar stories about the attributes of kindness that our forefather demonstrated – through hachnasat orchim (welcoming visitors) to the way he faced his greatest test, akeidat Yitzchak, the binding of his son Isaac.
