Rabbi Marcus – Noach

Noach is one of the better known Biblical personalities. He managed to withstand the corrupt behaviour of those around him and was together with his family singled out for survival by building the famous ‘Noah’s Ark’ in which he and his family and a selection of animals survived the flood that engulfed the world.  After the flood, the Almighty promised not to unleash another such flood, and this promise was expressed in the form of the rainbow that appeared.
