Rabbi Marcus MBE -Vayikra

This weeks Sidra deals with the laws concerning Sacrifices which was the main form of worship initially in the Mishkan (portable Sanctuary) (approx. 1220 BCE) and for a  further 1300 years up to and including the first two temples.  Eventually after the destruction of the second Temple (70 AD) prayer as we know it today replaced sacrifices as the main form of worship.
