Kids Pre -Pesach Fun

Final Kids Picture 4

What a great morning was had by the Sunday before Pesach. With Pesach only hours away, we launched into a host of Pesach activities with kids of all ages. The workshop was hosted by myself and my wife Ruth and I think we loved it as much as the children, if not more.

We started with a brief explanation of the story of Pesach and knew we were on the right track when one or 2 of the kids put away their IPADS and actually engaged. A rarity today!

We then went about creating puppets of all the 10 plagues. It’s amazing what fun can be had without Fifa 13 or Clash of Clans. This was followed by an Afikoman treasure hunt with us replacing the Afikoman with chocolates. Maybe not entirely to the parents taste but certainly a hit with the kids.

The highlight of the morning was definitely the Sand Art tochnit, with even the older children enjoying this. What a mess, but oh so worth it.

All in all, a great event and hopefully many more such events to follow.
